Great course for your money. Instructor was easy to follow and kept the class interesting from beginning to end. Not a single minute wasted. Group participation was encouraged which made the material retainable. Great course for first time and experienced shooters. Highly recommend.

My expectations going in was a basic beginner introduction to handgun skills, holster draw, grip, trigger control, etc. Ron completely blew my expectations out of the water when he introduced movement into the equation. That intro to Run’n and Gun’n was fantastic. I really appreciated that. I also appreciated Ron’s approach to teaching; he’s not dogmatic, but rather, presents the options, pros and cons of each, and says, “you’re all adults, if you’re chosen method completes the mission then there’s no reason for correction.”
I can’t think of anything I would have changed about the course. Ron completed the mission, and that’s what matters.
I would like to see a class that’s all about Run’n and Gun’n. If Ron offers one, I’m in!

As a long-time shooter with several other courses under my belt, this class far exceeded my expectations. This class should be a priority for any shooter, especially if you’re a CCW holder. Firstly, Ron is not only a well-qualified instructor, he’s a gifted instructor. He’s knowledgable and skilled without being intimidating, and has a knack for putting his students at ease and making sure they have fun while they are learning important skills.
Secondly, I didn’t expect to enjoy the shooting aspect of this course as much as I did. Our participants ranged from first-time students to experienced shooters, and Ron kept it fun, challenging and interesting for everyone. I was pleasantly surprised to have courses of fire that involved dynamic movement, multiple targets and simulated emergency trauma care, all in one! I left this class feeling confident about using my TQ and other trauma kit/IFAK contents. I also agree with the other two reviewers about this class, 100%. Ron’s practical approach is a breathe of fresh air.
If you’re looking at this class, don’t even think twice–just sign up. It’ll be the best money you’ve spent on a class, and it could very well save your life or that of a loved one.

Wow, what a class… way beyond my expectations. Ron is a fantastic instructor, patient, methodical and certainly knowledgeable. As a relative newcomer, he coached me every step of the way. His approach felt like it was a one-on-one class. In addition, I now feel confident that I could handle a real-world situation, certainly capable to handle a tourniquet, chest seal and compressed gauze to help stem blood loss. The day after the course, while in a classroom, I noticed a trauma kit in the corner that I had never noticed before… after opening it up, I realized that I now could use the enclosed items with confidence. I can’t recommend this course enough… it’s great for people with beginning and intermediate skills and of course, for those of us who would be willing to offer assistance in traumatic situations.
