BSIS certification course for current Guard card holders.
The class starts at CTA and continues at the Trigger Burst Training Facility in Newbury Park.
Students will leave with all necessary forms and certificates for application for the Exposed Carry Permit.
Allowed Persons:
Students must be 21 years of age at the time they submit their application (within 30 days of class)
Students have a current Guard Card, or have applied within 30 days of class
Must be a US Citizen (Birth Certificate, Passport, DD-214 for Military, Certificate of Naturalization) due at class
Prohibited Persons:
Violent Misdemeanors within 10 year of conviction
Any Felony convictions
Any Drug or Alcohol convictions with fines exceeding $500 within the past 5 years
Any Mental Health issues resulting in a 5150 or 5152 psychiatric holds within the past 5 years.
Any pending criminal action will delay the permit until the case is resolved.
Firearm information:
Firearms chambered in 9mm are provided
Equipment (holsters, belts, hearing and eye protection) provided
Additional Calibers added to permit ONLY if the student has their own firearm
Students will leave with all necessary forms and certificates for application for the Exposed Carry Permit
